The Sofa Slam at Change Makers
In June 2018, The Sofa Slam was brought to Change Makers at The Broadway. Supported by The White House Young Creatives and kindly commissioned by the Barbican, The Sofa Slam was ignited in the foyer stage of The Broadway Theatre.
The Sofa Slammers hosted a workshop and poetry slam, inviting some exciting talent from Barking and Dagenham and beyond to express what they loved and hated about the world and what they were fighting for. Visitors were asked to proudly display their alliances through stickers introducing themselves as lovers, fighters or haters.
